It’s true! We really love what we do. We are obsessed with stylish and comfortable design and this is evident across all our models, which provides the perfect combination of performance and leisure. However, our success is due not only to our superior design but also to our cost-efficient building and direct lines with the shipyard. About us
Established in 2009 by co-founders Andre and Harald, Cooperyacht hit the water, so to speak, with our classic model, the Cooper745. After significant success with the original model, we decided to expand and began the design of the Cooper800, which has now become a favourite with our customers. Since our inception, we have grown from 2 to 15 people in the Netherlands. Our local team is tasked with delivering our full bouquet of services while we have a shipyard in Cambodia that employs over 60 people who build our beautiful boats. Each of our boats and tenders are designed at CooperStudio and we collaborate with our Cambodian sister-company to deliver luxurious boats that are comfortable, customisable and endlessly stylish. Currently, we have over 500 boats on the water and our continuous aim is to design and build boats that our customers love.
Andre Tromp en Harald Hoevenaar
Andre is a co-founder of cooperyacht and has had a passion for the water and boating ever since he can remember. Well-versed in everything maritime-related he is incredibly proud of what he and his partner, Harald Hoevenaar, have managed to create. Andre, by his nature, is a collaborative person and is always interested in the ideas his team has. “It helps us design and build better boats for our customers’ says Andre.
Harald as initiator of cooper and designer from origin, loves to sit with clients and discuss options and new colour combinations besides just having fun in his job.
Andre & Harald are also very appreciative of the fact that they have managed to extend their business into the Scandinavian, German, United Kingdom, Spanish, Asian and Australian markets.
